A faja is Colombia’s iconic high-compression shaping garment, designed to sculpt the body and provide powerful, structured support.
Unlike other ordinary shapewear, The Original Colombian faja delivers firm, targeted compression with premium Powernet fabric.
It is primarily used to:
To wear a faja correctly, start by ensuring your skin is completely dry and free of lotions. Step into the garment and slowly pull it up over your legs and thighs, making sure the seams are centered and the rear area is properly aligned. Once it is pulled up to your torso, slide your arms through the straps and begin fastening the hooks starting from the bottom and working your way up to manage the compression effectively. Finally, smooth out any wrinkles and adjust the edges to ensure a comfortable fit without any rolling.
Choosing the right size is the most important step to ensure both comfort and effective results. To find your perfect fit, you should take accurate measurements of your waist and hips using a soft measuring tape, then compare them strictly to the specific brand's size chart rather than relying on your standard clothing size. A perfect faja should feel very tight and offer firm support without cutting off your circulation or causing pain. If you are between sizes, it is always recommended to choose the larger size to ensure the garment can be closed properly while still providing the necessary compression for body contouring.
My surgeon insisted on a Colombian Powernet faja, and the quality from High End Fajas is unmatched. It significantly reduced my swelling and helped my skin adhere perfectly. A total lifesaver for post-op care.
I’ve tried so many brands, but the stitching and compression level here are on another level. It doesn’t roll down or pinch. You can truly feel the 'High End' difference in the fabric.
I wear the compression vest daily under my work shirts. Not only does it hide my midsection perfectly, but it also provides incredible back support. Very discreet and breathable.
Start with your goal. Are you looking for everyday shaping, post-operative support, or extra definition for special occasions? The right faja depends on how you plan to use it and how much compression your body needs.
Compression matters.
If you’re new to fajas, it’s always better to start lighter and move up.
Many clients prefer to have their faja ready before surgery, especially for immediate support after procedures. Others choose to purchase once healing begins and swelling changes. Follow your surgeon’s recommendations and plan ahead to avoid last-minute stress.
Very important. A well-fitted faja should feel supportive—not painful. Take measurements carefully, without wearing another compression garment, and follow the sizing guide closely. Accurate measurements ensure better comfort, smoother shaping, and better results.
A quality faja should feel snug and supportive, not restrictive. Some pressure is normal, especially with firmer compression, but you should still be able to breathe, sit, and move comfortably. Always listen to your body.
This depends on your purpose and experience. Some people wear fajas daily under clothing, while others use them during recovery or for specific occasions. If you’re new, start with shorter wear times and gradually increase as your body adjusts.
